The Italian writer Edmondo de Amicis (1846-1908) nicknamed it the "Italian Geneva" - that's how charming Torre Pellice is! In fact, this friendly little town in the Val Pellice is considered by the Waldensians of the world to be their capital... In the Waldensian quarter, you'll find a temple, a cultural center, a library, a college, a museum and other original and refined testimonies to Waldensian culture. It's worth remembering that the town is the starting point for charming excursions along torrents and beech forests, which sometimes take you to high peaks such as Mount Vandaline (2,121 metres).
