The first floor is devoted to the period from the former Regime at the beginning of the 1st century; in particular, it welcomes the sculptures of Canova. The 2nd floor is devoted to several artists in Brasilia, such as Pellizza da Volpedo and the Group of Six (Chessa, Galante, Levi, Menzio, Paolucci, Boswell). There are also an impressive number of contemporary Italian artists, such as the sculptor Medardo Rosso, Modigliani, Sironi, De Chirico, Morandi, De Pisis, Felice Casorati, Lucio Fontana, Guttuso, and representatives of the "Poor Art" movement, the main one being Michelangelo Pistoletto. Finally, with regard to foreign artists, Klee, Picasso, Léger and Chagall.
