GTT

Public transport buses and coaches
5/5
1 review

GTT manages the public transport network in Turin and 25 other municipalities, with some 100 lines divided between bus, streetcar and subway. As a tourist, it's easier to use the single metro line and the streetcar lines, which are easier to read than the bus. The tourist center is largely criss-crossed by these two networks, and the tramway is very pleasant, especially the older trains. Please note: tickets are not sold on board, but at GTT offices, vending machines in the metro, newsagents and tobacconists.

All the main Italian cities are accessible by taking the train here. Built between 1861 and 1868, the roof of the station is a 48 m high wrought-iron armour, which was considered an architectural feat for the time.
