The park of Ankasa is not what it was. It has fallen into ruin with the storms that have come to destroy part of its vegetation. On its 500 km2, there is a tropical forest composed of thousands of palm trees. It protects the sources of the Panabo, Sukusuku and Tawya rivers. Specialists often point to Ankasa as one of the most biodiverse parks in West Africa, with nearly 900 recorded plant species. As for the animals, while the official list is long (elephants, monkeys, colobus, wild cats), in reality they are difficult to see, if not impossible. Entrance 6 GHC.
