Small village of 3,000 inhabitants known mainly for its old quarry and for the Egtved Woman, a mummified body from the Bronze Age discovered in 1921 (visible in the National Museum of Denmark in Copenhagen). We discover the quarry of Tørskind: Robert Jacobsen lived in Egtved until his death in 1993. He designed the layout of this old quarry, in collaboration with the Frenchman Jean Clareboudt: landscape sculpture. A combination of sculpture and nature, using iron, granite and wood. The works signed Jacobsen are surrounded by the mounts of Clareboudt. Very nice view of the valley of the river Ådal.
