A surprising landscape surrounded by water. A white sandy coastline, small pebbled valleys, a few parking lots and buildings, almost all on one level: at Hvide Sande nothing sticks out, except for the Danish flagpoles that flap in the wind. To the west, the North Sea, infinity. To the east, the Ringkøbing fjord, so wide. Their waters melt into the almost omnipresent windy sky. It is not surprising that it is a paradise for windsurfers: the wind rarely drops below 15 knots! And in the middle, separated by its lock, an important fishing port where nearly 200 foreign boats dock.
