Closed on Monday. A few kilometres from Gheorgheni (on the road to Topliţa), in the village of Lăzarea, this red roof white castle beautifully situated on the edge of the forest was a former residence of the nobles of the region. Built on a hill in the th century, it features architectural details inspired by the patterns of traditional embroidery (mainly floral). In particular, the so-called "Knights" room, with its marble floor, caissons ceiling, wrought iron candlesticks, 100 different sculpted chairs and 2 tiled stoves.
