Travel Guide Perancak

Located south of Negara, we are in the estuary of the Sungai Daya River which flows down from the north. This estuary is particularly swampy and home to the buffalo races for tourists, which are organized by the Kuta tourist circuits. Perancak is a small and peaceful village with a temple and a port for making beautiful wooden boats. Pura Gegé Perancak is considered the place where Nirartha first set foot in Bali. A small ancient temple made of white limestone, it sits on the banks of the Sungai River, in front of the brightly coloured bugi boat factory which is well worth a visit.
