12 km away, the small village of Tamraght, on the sea, at the bottom of the mountains, offers a multitude of nice little restaurants along the road. One comes there to taste a tajine on Sunday. Some of the stalls offer delicious food for good prices. The village also marks the junction for the Ida Outanane country and its enchanting waterfalls. Tamraght, long preserved from mass tourism, is becoming a renowned surfing spot, in line with Agadir and Essaouira's locations in the region, all of which enjoy excellent year-round weather conditions and consistently pleasant water temperatures.
