Travel Guide Aousserd

The region of Aousserd is not the most beautiful of the Moroccan Sahara, but lovers of authenticity will love it. Here no superfluous, only the necessary (and still, on this subject think wide on the level fuel, there is no station here). Aousserd was at the time of the caravans a relatively important stage on the route between Atar in Mauritania and Laâyoune. Of great strategic importance during the Sahara conflict, it aspires today to regain all or part of its former glory by focusing on the development of tourism. A great name of the local culture has excelled in particular in poetry: Sheikh Mohammed El Mami.
