With almost 420,000 inhabitants, Agadir is a major tourist center, comparable to one of the seaside resorts of southern Europe. The climate is exceptional, with 300 days of sunshine a year and a temperate climate all year round. The town is also one of Morocco's leading fishing ports. Completely destroyed in 1960 following an earthquake, the town was rebuilt with a clear objective: the development of tourism. Mass tourism has developed in Agadir. You have two options: spend a family vacation in a luxury hotel with a few outings, or consider Agadir as a base for discovering the region, from the pretty seaside villages to the Paradise Valley, via the heights and their argan tree fields. It's also the starting point for your journey to the Grand Sud!
