Founded in the late 19th century, this small village is surrounded by the Alléghanys mountains. Its main source of income is its natural resources, including agriculture, maple syrup production, logging, hunting and fishing. Its territory includes the Massif du Sud regional park, an excellent four-season destination for outdoor enthusiasts. In addition to dozens of self-guided and guided activities, the park offers a wide range of sleeping options in the heart of nature. It's also home to the Station touristique Massif du Sud, with its 30-odd slopes and six freeride areas.
