Travel Guide Bathurst

The only major city in the northeastern part of the Acadian Peninsula, Bathurst is the county seat of Gloucester County. Located at the mouth of the Nepisiguit River, with the Bay of Chaleur just a stone's throw away, the city is a nice stop on the road for a meal, a local beer or just a stroll. We recommend a visit to the Waterfront Promenade, accessible by Route 134. In addition to the tourist office, there are boutiques, gourmet addresses, an art gallery, etc. In the immediate vicinity, there is also a charming café (Kaffeine Espresso Bar), a microbrewery (13 Barrels Brewing) and the Bathurst Heritage Museum.
