This small fishing port is, despite its modest size, one of the main centers of the eastern part of the island. There are a few businesses, stores and restaurants, but also a few attractions worth mentioning. In the heart of the village is the Garden of the Gulf Museum, the oldest municipal museum in the province, which focuses on the history of the region and the island (after the tour, have a beer at the Copper Brewing microbrewery located just a few steps away). Then, a few miles from Montague, the Roma at Three Rivers National Historic Site tells the story of the French colony of Jean-Pierre Roma established in 1732.
