Here you will find another World Heritage Church, 7 km from Chonchi. It was built at the end of the 17th century and it differs from the other churches of the archipelago by showing even more simplicity and authenticity: the wood of alerce has not been painted, which gives it a most picturesque character. It is also said that the naturalist Charles Darwin visited it in 1834. The tower, which is 22 m high, is magnificent. There is no vault inside. You will be able to treat yourself to a short walk on the wild coast. And then with a bit of luck, you can even observe dolphins (toninas) from the forecourt.
