Quellón is located in the extreme south of the island of Chiloé, at the southern end of the Pan-American Highway. Quellón is characterized by its maritime activity as well as by its economic activity centered on fishing. The last Huilliche communities of Chiloé are located in the municipality. We can mention Compu, Chadmo Central, Huaipulli, Huequetruamo and Incopulli. Quellón is also a bridgehead connecting the major economic centers of Chile to the southern lands. There are boats that connect with Chaitén and Puerto Chacabuco. You will find information in the tourist information office in the main square
