It is one of the objectives of a visit to Pucón. The park has three volcanoes: Villarrica (2,847 m), Quetrupillán (2,382 m), Lanín (3,776 m), and numerous lagoons. The flora is made up ofaraucaria and lenga forests on the heights, and raulí and coigüe forests below. The fauna includes the monito del monte (a small marsupial). There are three access routes: the Rucapillán sector, where the ski centre is located and where travellers set off to climb the volcano; the Quetrupillán sector, near the Palguín thermal baths, where you can camp and hire horses; and the Puesco sector, near the border with Argentina.
