The Lahuén Foundation protects this reserve located in the Liucura River area. It is a reforestation and native species conservation project, whose objective is to develop ecological awareness and sensitivity. A 9 km trail leads to the Laguna Negra. You can continue for another hour to a superb viewpoint where, according to well-informed people and smart travellers, it is possible to camp: the panorama, at dawn, on the surrounding volcanoes and the cordillera is breathtaking!
