This national park covers 12,500 hectares and contains about 20 lagoons. The landscapes are superb and wild, offering beautiful panoramas of Lake Tinquilco and the volcano Villarrica. With a bit of luck, you may even spot a condor! Two excursion trails are marked: Sendero Quinchol, 3 km uphill, 5 hours round trip (access to lakes Toro, Verde and Chico); and Sendero a Los Lagos, 8 km uphill (7 to 8 hours round trip) to Huerquehue lagoon and Los Palos lagoon, where it is possible to camp. A tip: in any case, visit the two beautiful waterfalls on the way down!
