Travel Guide Vilina Vlas

The thermal springs of Vilina Vlas are located 7 km north of Visegrad. To find them, turn right in Sase and take to Višegradska Banja. It was during the construction of the Višegrad Bridge, by digging a quarry of stones, that these mineral springs were discovered. The Turks built the baths there. This tradition does not fail because since 1982 there is a large thermal centre with water in which we find iron, magnesium, lithium and many other things. It comes at 34 ° C and feeds the facilities of the centre. The hotel is also a hotel (see Lodging in Višegrad). A little lower, in Sase, was discovered a necropolis dating from 800 to 600 BC, which can be seen in stone graves up to 12 m in diameter.
