Travel Guide Ksani

From Mtskheta on the way to Gori, after crossing the Aragvi river, we reach the Ksani river after about 20 km. This river has its source in the Great Caucasus. Kasni, an industrial town, marks the confluence of the Ksani and Koura rivers. On one of the hills stands a magnificent fortress located at the most strategic place in the region. One can go there from the city centre, climbing on foot to the fortress. From the station in Didubus: marchroutky Tbilisi-Ksani, although the fortress is more beautiful from afar, when you see it from the road proudly guarding the valley.
