This archipelago of four rocky islets (Ilha da Berlenga, Farilhões, Estrelas and Forcados) classified as a Nature Reserve, is located 10 km from Peniche. Count a small hour of navigation, depending on the sea state. Inhabited by many species of birds, it also attracts diving enthusiasts. You can spend a day visiting the main island, preferably with a fisherman who will take you to the Blue Cave and the Furado Grande, a marine tunnel that leads after 70 m to a cove, the Cova do Sonho. The symbol of the islands is the Guillemot de Troïl, a black and white bird of the alcidae family, a very good swimmer and diver.
