This authentic Dutch village is made up of 17th and 18th century houses and mills from the surrounding area. Here, each house has been transformed into a museum, which does not prevent all these small artisanal businesses - from the clog maker to the cheese maker, passing by the clockmaker, the pewter founder, the color or cheese maker - from being still in activity. In summer, you can take a pleasant boat ride on the Zaan, which is lined with dozens of mills. Please note! The parking lot at the entrance closes at 6 pm and there is no accommodation available. Here you are equidistant (22 km) from Edam and Alkmaar in the east.
