Vietnam's first national park, inaugurated in 1963 by President Hô Chi Minh, covers more than 25,000 ha, straddling the three provinces of Ninh Binh, Thành Hoa and Hoa Binh. The park is best visited during the dry season, from October to March. It is possible to hire the services of a guide and go on treks lasting several days. A walk in the primary forest is the best way to discover its luxuriant nature. A visit to the center for endangered primates is a must in the park. Admission: 50,000 VND (60,000 VND including admission to the primate center).
