Situated to the north of Las Galletas, this ancient small sloping village has also experienced the development that has affected the entire coast around the fishing village of Los Cristianos since the early 1960s. And today it has also become a tourist centre with beaches, 4 and 5 star hotels and the many leisure and activities that go with it. Its old centre can be found around the Plaza del Santíssimo Cristo de La Salud, where some of the stately homes are located, and the eighteenth century parish church of San Antonio Abad. It is also a starting point for some beautiful hikes to the interior.
