Salmon, curries, pasta and good options are the charm of this place. Here we do not hesitate to combine fruits, vegetables and spices to create surprising and particularly successful recipes. Vegetarians are welcome, but carnivores will also find their way to fish and meat, as dishes or sandwiches. To eat on the spot or to take away.

The atmosphere is intimate with Cuban music. Fast and warm service and rich gourmet dishes. Try the tapas plate to taste in small quantities all the specialities on offer. All to be enjoyed with a Cuban rum cocktail. It's very nice for an early evening, but the tourist success has taken the edge off the quality of the dishes, which are just about right for the prices displayed. We therefore advise you above all for the atmosphere and the setting, to escape for a moment in Cuba.

Located in a tiny space, in a cellar at the corner of Vinohrady's magnificent secessionist buildings, opposite the lush Riegrovy Sady Park, The Tavern follows the trend of burger restaurants opening throughout the district with very successful recipes. Very popular, especially in summer when its small terrace is always overflowing, the place attracts tourists, expats and trendy locals alike. Excellent homemade beers and cocktails are also served. The place is successful and full, remember to book.

A basement pub in a residential street in Vinohrady that offers charming wooden interiors under vaulted ceilings, as well as a very pleasant garden during the summer months. The customers mix Czechs and expats from the neighbourhood and the beers flow in at the end of the day, at the end of the day, when the offices close. The restaurant is composed of several elegant spaces: leather, marble and wood create a superb harmony. Not to be missed: the Sunday brunch, a twelve-course culinary adventure to discover Czech cuisine revisited with brio.

This friendly Italian bistro offers daily menus based on fresh produce, including seafood. Pasta and risottos are the order of the day, but there are also more substantial dishes (meat or fish) as well as vegetarian formulas, soups and homemade pastries. All for a very reasonable budget, given the quality of the products, and served by a friendly, smiling team. Also great during the day for a simple coffee... ristretto, of course!

If you are a vegetarian and spend a weekend in Prague, you will have no trouble finding what you are looking for at the Radost FX restaurant-bar, not far from the I.P.Pavlova underground station. This bar-restaurant and disco (one of the most famous in the city) has an excellent vegetarian restaurant that offers the best dishes of its kind in Prague. It's varied, elaborate, well prepared and the setting is very trendy. The landmark of Prague's international artists for more than a decade: a reliable and long-lasting address!

Very good Czech specialties, but also nice pasta dishes and a good choice of wines on the menu. The setting is very nicely decorated with old newspaper advertisements and, at the back, you can have lunch or dinner in a small, quiet, nicely lit garden. The address is often crowded as soon as the weather is fine to enjoy the garden. The Czech cuisine is revisited here with a touch of modernism, i.e. the portions are smaller and the result on the plate less fatty.

One of the many microbreweries in Prague, Vinohradský Pivovar opened its doors at the end of the 2000s, on the site of a brewery dating from the late 19th century. Today, in a very contemporary setting and with a minimalist decoration, it is one of the most charming places to enjoy one of their delicious beers. This is the main reason for this, but success has also led to the opening of a very recommendable restaurant where you can try some very successful Czech specialities from the menu. A very beautiful address for a quiet lunch in the heights of Malà Strana, far from the tourist crowd, in the Loreta district. The pearl of this establishment is of course its terrace at the back, facing the hill of Petřín. Below, you can see the banks of the Vltava River, lined with prestigious buildings and dominated by the steeples of Staré Mĕsto and Nové Mĕsto. The menu offers good Czech specialities for less than 200 Kč. We can also take a short break during the day, to try some excellent homemade tiramisu.

One of the few remaining working-class restaurants in the middle-class Vinohrady district, Ztráty & Nálezy is located in the basement of a beautiful Prague mansion. The setting, a sort of bric-a-brac, with its large wooden tables, old counter and framed walls, is as rustic as the kitchen. Don't expect great gastronomy, but the dishes are hearty and particularly inexpensive. The restaurant serves Czech cuisine.

It doesn't get much more central than this address on Old Town Square! Romanesque and Gothic vaults house the Konšelský Sal main hall, with its stone walls, weapons from a bygone era and, above all, murals of Czech lords. In the^14th-century cellars, you can enjoy the taste of various grilled meats and old Czech dishes. Wash it all down with a glass of Pilsner beer or Moravian wine. Authentic Greek tavern in the Zižkov district (on the same street as the Akropolis Club... coincidence or not?) which aims to become the Greek reference in Prague. Open kitchen, large noisy clean rooms, and a change of scenery thanks to the frescoes on the walls. All Greek specialities are on the menu with a penchant for selecting fresh fish, cooked over a wood fire and billed by weight. A wide selection of Greek wines. A good address for savouring clever cocktails before savouring surprising Mexican gastro cuisine. Contemporary decor and atmosphere. This rather unique establishment is the latest project of serial entrepreneur Glenn Spicker, a troublemaker on the Prague gastronomic scene since 1992, with creations such as U Malého Glena and Bohemia Bagel to his credit. He called on chef Christian Dolias, who has made a name for himself on the Mexican cuisine scene in California and Las Vegas.

An original concept at the crossroads of fishmonger, bar and seaside restaurant. Chalkboards display the price of each fish or shellfish according to the day's arrivals, and the chef's inspired recipes. Make your choice and take a seat at the few communal wooden tables in the trendy, relaxed atmosphere of the place while you wait for your freshest fish to be served to you. With a small glass of wine, it's the ideal stop-off for a fish or seafood orgy.

A very well maintained restaurant at the corner of Francouzká Street, which offers Czech specialities as well as beautiful salads and dough dishes, perfectly presented on well laid out tables. The setting is both sober and chic, the service excellent and the prices reasonable considering the quality of the products. A great opportunity to taste Czech cuisine in a more refined setting. The daily menus, served at lunch, at less than 150 Kč, are a bargain and it is better to arrive early to find a table.

Undoubtedly one of the best Indian restaurants in Prague, Lal Qila is nestled in a basement cellar on a quiet little street in Vinohrady, opposite the equally recommendable Kaaba café. We regret eating in the basement, but considering the quality of the restaurant, we don't hesitate! Amazing, in the heart of Prague, not necessarily known for its large Indian community, to find the flavours and smells of Indian spices. The service is equally relaxed and jovial. A very nice place to find an alternative to Czech food.
