We have the impression of entering Ali Baba's cave as the capernaum extends so far into the shelves. You can find everything. 1950s pressure cooker, watches, lawnmowers... Unfortunately, no more valuable items have been found for a long time, but there are still a few vintage items not only from another era but also from another universe, that of the Soviet era. Very out of step and often not found in France, this gives value to what you will find when you come to hunt around here.

At the same address as the Světozor cinema, this tiny store offers plenty of posters and posters on a wide and eclectic selection of movies. The designs are often rare and unreleased in France, so movie and series fans will be able to find a new and offbeat version of their favorite entertainment here. Also inside the store, many DVDs of international films from all eras and, of course, a selection of films and box sets dedicated to Czech directors and actors not well known in France.

In a very touristy area, of course, it's always nice to find a store that doesn't just work for tourists. Here, of course, you'll find beautiful puppet models, as well as some fine ceramic pieces. The puppets range from the traditional witches, Don Giovanni and Golem to better-known characters such as Charlie Chaplin. The colors and expressions are carefully chosen, and the materials are of good quality. Prices are reasonable, and can be negotiated on certain models.

An interesting concept store where you can sip a coffee or a glass of wine in a beautiful, streamlined interior showcasing vintage creations and antiques. True bohemian chic for purchases as varied as decoration, clothes, shoes, furniture... As for the prices, of course, they're a little exaggerated, but if you're a fashion enthusiast and want to take home something original, stylish and signed by a Czech designer, you'll certainly find something to please you in this boutique.

There's nothing to swoon over in the ceramics and other handicrafts on sale here, but there are a few nice items stamped with the eternal cats or fish that make perfect little souvenirs to take home. The quality is good without being exceptional, and prices are quite reasonable. Ideal if you're not looking for one-off pieces or very high quality, you'll find here a wide choice of shapes and colors, as well as a variety of items, for decoration or everyday use.

This new chain of craft stores has already opened half a dozen in downtown Prague, but the one in Malá Strana offers the widest choice. The concept: to sell only handicrafts made from wood from Czech forests or, at farthest, from Central Europe. Games, tableware, small souvenirs, themed decorations: the whole range of themes is available in beech, birch, oak, ash, hazelnut... So you can come back with an eco-responsible gift that couldn't be more local!
