With its 19 km² and 270 inhabitants, the islet is renowned for its white sandy beaches and translucent turquoise waters. Located 300m from the Peloponnese, opposite Neapolis, it is very pleasant except in August, as it can hardly accommodate a large number of visitors. To get to Elafonissos you have to take a boat from Vigklafia on the Peloponnese side, the crossing is only ten minutes and costs only 2 euros per person. The hotel offer is limited.
