The old main port of the island is a charming stop. It has a special church, Aghios Nikolaos Krassas ("Saint Nicholas of Wine"). According to tradition, it was built with a cargo of wine saved from a shipwreck. Two beautiful beaches: Fourni and Platia Ammos. 6 km inland, the charming village of Karavas offers its almond trees, plane trees and springs. Not far away is the beach of Platia Ammos with its tavernas. You can also visit the Saint Sophia cave, with an area of more than 120 m², full of stalactites and stalagmites, as well as the Venus cave in the depths of Galani.
