At Kini, a small sandy beach is nicely shaded and very pleasant for families. Kini is also home to some excellent restaurants, making a day's lunch break on the beach all the more enjoyable. Kini is also the gateway to the north-western beaches, certainly the most beautiful on Syros. They are not easily accessible, which saves them from the crowds. A caïque serves them a few times a day from the small port of Kini. Not to be missed. Alternatively, Delfini beach, just north of Kini, is easily accessible on foot via a footpath. It takes about 20 minutes. These coves are also popular with nudists.
