Welcome to Angistri! At the left end of the harbor, about 600 meters away, you'll find a pretty little sand and pebble beach, one of the island's most popular in summer. You'll probably hear about another pebble beach at Halkiada, reserved for nudists. A little further on, overlooking the sea, a discotheque-bar is the island's main night-time attraction. The hotels and tavernas are acceptable, but deserve no special mention. Above Skala, a hill shelters Metohi, the ancient capital.
