Its tourist development is still slow and discreet, but Orei is a small living harbor with a seafront with bars and taverns. The village is divided into two by a castle that stands in its middle. In the west, you can see the remains of a second fortress erected once on the ruins of an ancient acropolis. Orei is finally known for the bull statue found by fishermen in the open sea and displayed in a window on the central square. This bull is marble and dates back to Hellenistic times. Take the road to Pefki, crossing Itéia, which Homère had described as polystaphylos, that is, "rich in vineyards".
