Surrounded by pine trees, Rovies remains a well kept secret and a village appreciated by Greek holidaymakers, especially for its long sandy beach and fine pebbles. Its Venetian castle now houses a cultural center. At its western end, the Gerania River flows into the sea under the trees. A little further, Gregolimano Beach is reserved for Club Med residents. At 10 km you can visit the monastery of Ossios David, dating back to the sixteenth century.
