Travel Guide Afissos

Afissos is a village at the foot of the mountain, bordered by the sea and beautiful coves, perfect in high season because of the direct access to the beach. The sea front is a pleasant walk. Otherwise, the village is built in an amphitheatre above the beach, between the olive groves, constituting a superb place for relaxation. Its tourist infrastructure is well developed. Just before entering the village, the beach of Kallifteri is ideal for swimming, surrounded by nature. The ancient town of Afetes is said to have been located where, according to the myth, the Argonauts got their water supply. In the centre of the village, a fountain refreshes visitors.
