Amphitheatrically situated at the foot of Mount Kholomonda and with a magnificent view of the three gulfs, Poligiros is a rich and beautiful little town full of parks and springs, surrounded by hills covered with fruit trees, vineyards and olive groves. Inhabited since prehistoric times, the town developed during the Ottoman period as a textile centre. Today, it is the capital of Chalkidiki, where all administrative services are located. 13 km away, the seaside resort of Gerakini gives a taste of the beaches.To go there.
