Another small village with a very Arcadian charm. Located at an altitude of 1,000 meters, above the Loussios valley, it unfolds its paved streets, its wooden balconies and its tiled roofs in a perfectly serene atmosphere. It is surrounded by a beautiful pine forest. Dimitsana is also a place of culture. Its small museum of sea hydroelectricity is open every day from 10 am to 6 pm, except on Tuesdays. There is also a museum of religious art in the house where Gregory IV was born. Finally, this is the village that gave birth to the Kolokotroni and Deligiannis, heroes of the war of independence, whose names were used to baptize the squares of many cities in Greece.
