In 1991, the Serbian armies attacked Vukovar, which became a martyred city. Eighty-seven days of siege, with incessant bombing, war crimes and the deportation of nearly 20,000 people. Today, part of the population has returned. The city has been rebuilt to give it a new lease on life, but without forgetting. If the church is raised, if the Eltz Manor has regained its artistic grandeur, with its curator, Zoran Šimunović, an internationally renowned painter, with a film festival, the places of memory are numerous. They allow visitors or generations who did not experience the war to better understand.
