33 km from Aydın. Without a car, you have to walk from Sultanhisar (2 km). While driving on Denizli road, in Sultanhisar, turn left. Drive 2 km to reach the site (chargeable). The soothing landscape of this wooded hill and the absence of tourists make it an attractive visit for archaeology enthusiasts. The site, hidden in the mountain, in the middle of an olive grove reveals a Roman theater of 5,000 spectators in excellent condition thanks to the tunnel that prevented the water from invading it. Founded in the 3rd century BC, Nyssa reached its peak during the Roman period. Going up, the bouleutêrion (Senate), restored by the Byzantines.
