This family ski resort at 1,620 m above sea level, incorporating Mount Snejanka (1,926 m), enjoys both Mediterranean and mild mountain influences. With 25 km of trails (some of which lead to the Smolyan lakes), 6.5 km of cross-country ski loops and 21 lifts, the ski area is one of the best in Bulgaria for beginners. The site is in a beautiful natural environment. Pamporovo is connected to the resort of Chepelare by shuttles. If you buy a pass in one of the resorts, it will be valid in the other. In summer, you can hike on about 40 marked hiking trails.
