Population approx. 1,600. This eight-century-old village lies at the confluence of the Savinja and Lučnica rivers, which start at Podvolovljek, 6 km to the southeast. The scattered settlement is made up of hamlets and well-kept farmhouses. Voted Slovenia's most beautiful village several times over by the country's inhabitants, the municipality showcases its highly valued ethnological heritage and rich handicraft past.
