When Austrians cross the border to enjoy the scenery and go green, it's because there's something special about the valley. And it's true! Logarska Dolina is without doubt one of the most beautiful valleys in the Alps. A small, flat road winds through green meadows towards coniferous forests and unreal, steep peaks. Here, economic activity revolves around cattle breeding and forestry. Logar is a glacial valley where only around 30 people live permanently. Its peaks include Ojstrica (2,350 m), Planjava, Brna, Turska Gora, Skuta and Rinke.
