This tiny village, with a population of just 150, is frequented by fishermen and bathers. Nearby are the ruins of Pobrežje Castle, built in 1557. In the courtyard, the remains of St. Florian's Church, built in 1697 on the initiative of Ivan Adam Burgstall, remain. Crossing the vineyards, you reach Preložnik (290 m), the highest point overlooking the village, with views across the river to eastern Bela Krajina and neighboring Croatia. The surroundings invite you to relax and introspect. Handicrafts are still very much alive in the locality, with the famous pisanice.
