Es Canar is a popular seaside resort for Germans and English speakers and is famous for its hippie market (every Wednesday from April to October). Hundreds of stalls sell all kinds of goods in the small concrete streets around the Punta Arabi hotel club. Although it is the most important market on the island, it has lost its authenticity in order to meet the expectations of more tourists. If you are not interested in the market, you may prefer to take a trip to one of the beautiful beaches nearby. In the evening, hotels, bars and restaurants ensure a festive atmosphere. This is also where you will find the only campsites in Ibiza.
