You reach Cala Bassa and Cala Conta from the crossroads at the bottom of the village of Sant Agustí, halfway between Sant Josep and Sant Antoni. Cala Bassa is a magnificent site with rocks topped by a forest of pines, junipers and tamarinds, and with particularly transparent waters. At the entrance to the beach there is a large rock formation that looks like a lunar landscape and will certainly catch your eye. At the height of summer, Cala Bassa tends to fill up with a crowd of English and Germans. So avoid it if you are looking for peace and quiet. Chiringuitos and bars open in season. Boat and bus connections to Sant Antoni.
