From Omodos, to reach Arsos, the other tourist village of the corner, you can pass through the charming village of Vasa. All the elements of the traditional village like they like are there: church and terrace covered, streets and stone houses, coffee and old people in all corners of the shade, grocery stores which also make post, etc. Flowers grow on all walls and in all the gardens. The surrounding slopes are covered with vines. We will visit a small ecclesiastical museum, open free upon request. The Traversée crossing is not easy by car. In this narrow labyrinth of streets, you will not regret having chosen a small model! Further afield, you can see the village of Malia, perched on the top of a hill that covers vine crops on the terrace. Malia is now above all an important wine centre where KEO has facilities. But its small minaret dominating the surrounding valleys testifies to the presence of a Turkish population before 1974. This mosque and the few abandoned houses bring some melancholy to this small town.
