Hard to believe with all the tourist chaos around, but Lempa is one of the oldest villages on the island. The small prehistoric site of Lempa-Lakki, where precious statuettes from the Copper Age were discovered, is now preserved in the Cyprus Museum in Nicosia. At the end of the fields, however, concrete is reclaiming its rightful place, with huge complexes on the seafront.
