At the entrance to the Troodos massif and at the foot of Mount Papousta (1,554 m altitude), the village of the "seven corners" is the "capital" of the semi-mountainous Pitsilia region. Renowned for its citrus fruits and prickly pears, it's a good starting point for exploring the 18th-century churches of the pretty neighbouring villages of Melini (3 km north) and Odou (9 km north). Two cafés and a pleasant tavern.
