Perched 190 meters above sea level, this beautiful village is famous for its halloumi and donkeys. It still boasts a number of traditional houses, some of which have been converted into hotels where you can spend two or three nights in peace and quiet. Skarinou was the site of the first clandestine meeting of the Cypriot Communist Party (AKEL) in 1941.
