This vast beach is the seaside resort of the people of Messina (served by the ATM company from Messina, count 50 minutes). You can also stop at Montforte San Giorgio to discover two rock sanctuaries and troglodytic dwellings from an ancient Byzantine monastic settlement. Its parish church, with its beautiful Gothic portal, houses a 15th-century polyptych by Antonello de Saliba. Finally, stop at Rometta, to admire its old Byzantine church built between the 7th and 10th centuries.
