Formerly a hippie destination, this village has a few campsites and part of its site is open to naturism (it was the first site of this type in Spain). In high season, its beaches are not completely crowded, but the young population is dense, and the nightlife is rather developed through various chiriguintos, musical beaches and summer clubs... To the west, the Cabo de Trafalgar and its lighthouse remind us that this is where the famous Battle of Trafalgar took place in 1805, in which the Spaniards, allies of Napoleon, lost their armada, reputed to be so invincible, against the British fleet commanded by Admiral Nelson.
